Privacy Policy

 McCooey Engineering gathers and holds information on customers and suppliers, limited to company and representative names, contact details (including location/ delivery addresses, email address and telephone numbers) as provided by companies and their representatives. Financial details are held regarding payment and invoicing details for issuing invoices and making payments. 

McCooey Engineering does not share information, especially financial information, with anyone outside of the company, or anyone within the company unless necessary. We pride ourselves on confidentiality and the trust of customers and suppliers. Data such as names and contact details may be shared with third parties in order to facilitate business dealings, e.g. passing on contact details to couriers to enable delivery/collection of equipment etc. 

Data is not used to solicit for business. McCooey Engineering relies on word-of-mouth and designated marketing events, e.g. exhibitions, to promote itself. 

Data is updated when it is found to be out-of-date, or suppliers or customers informs the company. 

Sensitive information, such as including but not limited to racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs or trade union membership, and data on health, is not required for business purposes, and therefore is not collected.
